Two-way pallets
Two-way pallets, due to their design, can only be accessed from two sides. They are very frequently used as display pallets for sales displays or stands, or as one-way and reusable pallet systems, particularly in the construction industry for materials such as bricks, paving stones, or slabs.
The following variants are possible for two-way pallets:
- Surface made of solid wood or wood-based materials such as OSB, plywood, chipboard
- Beams made of softwood or hardwood in different cross-sections
- Additional floorboards for increased stability, e.g. when stacking bagged goods multiple times, etc.
- Additional heat treatment and marking according to ISPM 15 (IPPC) for export
- Individual marking (branding, printing, color markings) on boards and/or beams
For reusable pallets subject to heavy use and high load capacity
We recommend the following turnover rate:
- Use of beech wood instead of softwood, as beech wood is significantly harder and therefore more robust against wear, abrasion and impact, e.g. during forklift handling.
- Additional tube rivets ensure that the underpinning beams can hardly be torn off during forklift handling, thus extending the durability of the pallet.
- Individual markings with logo or company name to strengthen corporate identity, improving the return rate for reusable pallets
